Where is Ringwood State Park Located?
Ringwood State Park is located at 1304 Sloatsburg, Rd. Ringwood, New Jersey 07456 this state park offers many different activities. It is located on 4,444 acres in Passaic County in northeastern New Jersey. The park is in the heart of the Ramapo Mountains. There are several country manors and botanical gardens here that are opened year round. The park is located right next to the New York State Line, as well as the Wanaque Reservoir.
Things To Do
There are a plethora of activities and attractions within our park. We are home to The State Botanical Garden. This garden contains many varieties of plants, evergreens, and deciduous trees. Some of these include: crabapple vista, terraced gardens, perennial and annual gardens. You can see the beautiful Ramapo Mountains from here.
There are two beautiful manors to tour while visiting with us. Next, we have several trails for biking, skiing, hiking, horseback riding, or snowmobiling. We have areas for picnicking, fishing, hunting, boating, canoeing, kayaking and several playgrounds. If you are looking for a beautiful place for an outdoor wedding we can accommodate you. We even have sledding in the winter. Bring your family or a large group, we would love to show you our beautiful 4,444 acres. The entrance fees for the 2022 season have been waived.
